Hey there, I'm Kale!
I made my first rope bag for my climbing partner when I decided she needed a fun bag to match her personality. I was excited to take on the challenge and recruited my mom to help out (thanks mom!).
After I made that first rope bag, I was hooked. I began making bags for fellow climbers at the gym who admired my partner's bag. And it all grew from there.
As a climber myself, I love expressing my personality at the gym and I hope that Kale Bags will bring a new level of personal style to the climbing community.
Climbing is not just about performance, it's also about self-expression and individuality. I believe that our bags can help climbers showcase their unique personalities and stand out from the crowd.
Currently, the Kale Bags team consists of me, my mom (thanks mom!), and two adorable feline members, Louie and Cappy. While they firmly believe they contribute greatly, their involvement often leads to minor disruptions. The pictures above illustrate their enthusiastic participation.
While I take all precautions to eliminate cat hair from the bags, I cannot guarantee they are 100% allergy free, so please do not purchase if you are extremely allergic to cats! Cappy and Louie will forgive you.
